Primary Purpose:

Assist journeyman in performing daily operations for project warehouse facilities including material receiving and handling, inventory maintenance and control, filing of field requisitions, staging and preparation of materials for field installation, issuance of material, tools, equipment and fleet with significant interaction with discipline superintendents, construction teams, site management and office personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience working in a warehouse or similar craft as a helper or laborer, and a working knowledge of warehouse and receiving. Developing knowledge of material receiving and handling, inventory management, staging and preparation of material for field installation, and the issuance of materials, tools, and equipment. Ability to understand and follow directions. In addition, must have all necessary tools (see Warehouse Helper Tool List). Must be at least 18 years of age.

NCCER Construction Craft Laborer NCCER Core Curriculum or equivalent Craft Training Program
